New Sign In Feature
There is a change to the way you can sign into the Compass Parent Portal and Compass mobile app.
What this means for you:
• You can choose to sign into the Compass parent portal or mobile app using a one-time code or your username and password.
• To receive a one-time code, click the button that says: “Parent sign in with one-time code” (see image).
• You can choose to receive the one-time code by email or on your mobile phone.
• Every time you sign in this way, you will get a new code.
• You can also receive a one-time code by entering your username. The system will show your email address and phone number with some characters hidden for security.
• This is the fastest way to sign in because it ensures your email address or phone number are entered correctly.
• If you enter your phone number or email address manually, please make sure it is the same one you gave the school when your account was set up.
Using the one-time code is simple and is the most secure way to sign in. . If you have any questions about the change or you have forgotten your username, please contact Administration on 9528 9400. Please click the links below for more information.

Parents
Parents can be provided with their own secure login to Connect through DAM, please see the school for this. When parents log into Connect they will be able to see information specific to their own children which may include:
- The classes in which their children are engaged;
- Class calendars;
- Week by week attendance information;
- Assessment Outline information drawn from Reporting to Parents;
- Assessments and evidence of achievement for their own child;
- Notices from classes that automatically generate an email notification for parents or a notification on the Connect Now app;
- Notices from the school via the School Space; and
- Published progress and/or semester reports to parents.
Students
To access Connect, students will need a password from the school. Once students have been provided with their user-name and a password, they can access Connect by navigating to connect.det.wa.edu.au in their browser and logging in.
